Support For Schools

"In an average classroom, ten children will have witnessed their parents separate, eight will have experienced severe physical violence, sexual abuse or neglect, one will have experienced the death of a parent and seven will have been bullied."

Within your classrooms it is likely you have children dealing with a variety of challenges and struggling to cope with the demands of modern-day life.  This can quickly descend into loss of confidence and self-esteem, with many children presenting as anxious and disruptive at school.  The increasing responsibility of teachers to support children’s emotional and mental health adds pressure to an already demanding role.  While the hectic pace of school life can make it hard to consistently focus on the needs of one individual.  Unfortunately, SENCO’s and families are currently faced with long waiting lists when they try to pursue referrals for help which adds to stress and frustration.  In the meantime, children are unhappy, unable to learn or thrive and not reaching their potential.

By introducing consistent therapeutic support into your school week, you can ensure that every child referred is receiving a bespoke one to one service to meet their needs.  Working in partnership with your school and families, regular support provides children with the opportunity to work through issues pertinent to them in a safe space.  Referrals are accepted via school with parental consent.
